These apple popsicles are so wholesome and nourishing, made with blended apples (not apple juice) for a huge fiber boost, and no added refined sugar. These healthy apple popsicles are also vegan, and SO kid and toddler friendly. They are a super easy and great way to enjoy autumn flavors in warmer weather.

Apples are often associated with autumn, but I love having a way of enjoying their delicious flavor in the summer!
This was inspired by my healthy mango popsicle recipes, when I saw what a convenient way popsicles are for my kids to eat something healthy and enjoy it, I grabbed some apples and created this recipe!

What makes this recipe so good:
- You need 3 basic ingredients, plus optionally cinnamon powder for a perfect flavor pairing.
- It’s SO EASY to make. You just combine your ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, then freeze in popsicle molds. You don’t even need to peel your apples!
- Apple popsicles are so healthy- especially because these are made with whole blended apples instead of just apple juice. This way, they have so much more fiber and are filling and delicious.
Ingredients you need:

- Apples: Use sweet, red apples so you get the maximum natural sweetness in the popsicles. You don’t need to peel the apples which is such a timesaver!
- Coconut milk: go for full fat coconut milk so you get a nice, creamy end result. You could always substitute for Greek yogurt if dairy isn’t an issue for you.
- Honey: You just need a little to enhance the natural sweetness of the apples, taste and adjust before freezing to the sweetness level of your choice. Use maple syrup for vegan popsicles.
- Cinnamon powder: optional, but apples and cinnamon are such a natural pairing that this really works well!
See recipe card for quantities.
How to make easy blended apple popsicles:

- Step 1: Dice apples into small cubes.

- Step 2: Add the apple cubes to the blender alongside the coconut milk, honey and cinnamon.

- Step 3: Blend on high speed.

- Step 4: Keep blending until smooth.

- Step 5: Pour evenly into popsicle molds.

- Step 6: Freeze at least 6 hours until solid.
Hint: Taste and adjust after mixing to determine if you want the popsicles sweeter or not.
Blending the apples
Use a really good blender, so that you can get a creamy texture even when using unpeeled apples.
How to serve:
- To remove easily from the popsicle molds, either dip in a bowl of warm water, or place the molded popsicles under warm running water for just a few seconds, then you’ll be able to easily slide them out.

Recipe variations:
- Apple Yogurt Popsicles- For an alternate to coconut milk, blend Greek yogurt with the apples instead- you’ll get really creamy popsicles!
- Spiced Apple Popsicles – for even more of a spiced flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg, ground cloves, and potentially star anise OR a pinch of pumpkin pie spices for a seasonal twist on these apple popsicles- sort of like apple pie popsicles!
- Fruity Popsicles– add in a handful of any other fruit of your choice, like blueberries, mango cubes, pears, and a splash more coconut milk to get some fun fusion popsicles.
Storing Leftovers:
Leftover apple popsicles will last 1-2 months in the freezer (they may be tastiest for 2-3 weeks though). You can keep them molded if you’ll eat them within a few days, or if you want to free up your popsicle molds you can individually wrap them in plastic wrap or parchment paper, then store in a freezer bag.
Before serving, soften at room temperature for a minute or two, or run gently under warm water for a few seconds so it’s easier to unmold them.

Expert tips and tricks:
- Use fresh, sweet apples- preferably red for a well rounded flavor. I wouldn’t use Granny Smith apples for this, you want the sweetness.
- Taste the popsicle mix before molding, depending on how sweet your apples are you might want to add a little more honey or maple syrup.
- Blend very well until super smooth so that you don’t get chunky bits in the popsicles.
Pro Tip:
Give yourself enough time for these to set in the freezer. It’s preferable you prepare these the day before you want to eat them, otherwise they’ll need 4-6 hours to totally freeze.
Recipe FAQs:
It’ll definitely give you the best visual appeal and ease in removing, but you can alternately fill silicone ice cube molds with the mix and make individual little popsicle cubes that can be eaten with a spoon.
There’s just a tiny bit of honey or maple syrup added, but if you prefer to leave it out, you can definitely do that if your apples are sweet enough.
Yes, using coconut milk and maple syrup will ensure that these apple popsicles fit well in a vegan diet.

Apple Popsicles
Equipment
- popsicle molds
Ingredients
- 2 medium red apples
- 1 cup coconut milk (full fat) 250ml
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- pinch cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Core and dice the apples into 1/2 inch cubes. You don't need to peel them!
- Add the apples to a high powered blender along with the coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon powder and blend on high speed until creamy and combined.
- Pour the popsicle mix evenly into the popsicle molds, leaving a little gap at the top of each mold because the popsicles will expand when they are frozen. You'll probably get between 6-8 depending on the size of your molds.
- Either cover with the popsicle topper or insert popsicle sticks in the center. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.

Notes
Ingredient Notes
- Apples – Use sweet red apples like Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp for natural sweetness. No need to peel, but remove the core and seeds.
- Coconut Milk – Full-fat coconut milk gives the creamiest texture. You can substitute with Greek yogurt if not vegan.
- Honey or Maple Syrup – Use maple syrup for a vegan option. Add to taste depending on how sweet your apples are.
- Cinnamon Powder – Optional, but adds a warm flavor that pairs perfectly with apples.
💡 Recipe Tips
- No Peeling Needed – Save time and boost fiber by blending the apples with the peel.
- Taste Before Freezing – Adjust the sweetness to your preference depending on your apples.
- Blend Until Smooth – Use a high-speed blender to get a creamy consistency without apple chunks.
- Freeze Time – Popsicles need at least 4–6 hours to set; overnight is best for a firm texture.
- Easy Removal – Dip the molds in warm water or run under warm water for a few seconds to release popsicles easily.
❄️ Storing Leftovers
- Store popsicles in the freezer for 1–2 months, but for best taste and texture, enjoy within 2–3 weeks.
- Keep in the molds if consuming soon.
- For longer storage, wrap each popsicle in parchment or plastic wrap, then place in a freezer-safe bag to prevent freezer burn.
