Hi! I’m Farah. I’m a dietitian by training, but a full time food lover and recipe developer. I love anything to do with food. I remember begging my parents to take me to the supermarket as soon as I could speak just so I could browse through all the ingredients. My husband knows when he makes me angry to get me cheesecake or cookies. No flowers for me. Food all the way! And now, my kitchen is my refuge.
I have a pretty diverse background. I’m Palestinian American and live in sunny Bahrain, so you’ll find a lot of varied recipes on here. I do a lot of easier Middle Eastern cooking, but definitely have a huge sweet tooth and weakness for good old American style breakfast and baked goods.
I post what I make for my family, but only the best recipes make the cut. The reason I call this blog Every Little Crumb is because I believe every recipe you make should be so good you’ll want to eat every last crumb of it.
My toughest taste testers are my two kids. I have a 4 year old daughter, Layla, and a 2 year old son, Fahad. My daughter has been baking alongside me since she turned two and is an expert at cracking eggs, whisking, and folding. I call my husband my co- blogger because I hate to admit it, but he’s probably just as kitchen savvy as I am. We are a family of foodies lucky to call beautiful sunny Bahrain our home.
I first got into the food blog world by reviewing restaurants in Bahrain (we have some incredible dining options!) and I’m still very active in that scene. You can check out my restaurant reviews and more about me on my Instagram account .
