Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • nonstick spray like olive oil spray
  • 2 lbs frozen chicken wings (or fresh!) 900 g
  • salt and pepper for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 F (200C). Lightly spray the basket of the air fryer with the non stick spray.
  • Place the chicken wings in a bowl and sprinkle all over with salt and pepper to season. If frozen, you don't need to defrost them. Add all the remaining spice and toss to coat well.
  • Place a single layer of chicken wings in the basket of the air fryer, making sure none are touching. You'll probably need to cook the chicken wings in 2 batches to accomplish this. After 10 minutes of air fryer, flip the chicken wings over, and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through.
  • Serve with buffalo sauce or bbq sauce on the side, or dunk the cooked chicken completely in sauce for sticky wings. Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe works equally well with frozen or fresh chicken wings, they'll crisp up beautifully in the air fryer either way!
Feel free to switch up the seasonings however you like, and dunk the wings in buffalo or bbq sauce after cooking, they'll come out great!
