Apple Date Smoothie

This creamy, sweet, and healthy smoothie is perfect for fall. Naturally sweetnened with dates, and with a hint of peanut butter, you'll love the flavor in this!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped, frozen for a creamier smoothie
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
  • 1 cup milk of choice (cows milk, almond, oat, soy), cold
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 3 dates, pitted
  • pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a high powered blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into smoothie glasses and enjoy immediately!

Notes

You can add more dates or a splash of maple syrup or honey if you want this to be sweeter.
You can substitute the peanut butter for almond butter, or leave this out entirely.
This will make 4 small glasses or 2 big smoothie cups.
Make sure to keep blending until smooth, so you don't get grainy pieces of fruit.
