12ozbiscuits of choice I used a mix of Digestives and Oreos, marie tea biscuits work great too!360 g
1/2-2/3 cupleftover chopped chocolate bars and candy pieces, plus extra for topping completely optional!
1cupbutter, melted226 g, 2 sticks
3/4cupcocoa powder, natural or dutch processed85g
1cansweetened condensed milk14 oz, 400 g
Instructions
Lightly grease and line an 8x8 inch square pan (20 cm) with parchment paper.
Break the biscuits into large chunks and set aside in a bowl. Add the chopped candy bars and candy pieces if using.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, cocoa powder and condensed milk until smooth and combined. Add the biscuit pieces and chopped candy and fold to combine.
Dollop mixture into prepared pan, and spread out evenly with a spatula. Optionally, top with extra candy bars and chocolate pieces for decoration, and press them in a little so they stick.
Freeze for 2-3 hours until set and firm, then cut into squares. Enjoy once they've been at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes and have lost a bit of that freezer chill. Store leftovers in the freezer!

Notes
Traditional tiffin usually uses golden syrup to sweeten, but I love the texture that sweetened condensed milk gives. It also usually comes with dried raisins, cranberries or cherries but I prefer it without.Storing Leftovers: Leftovers last at least 10 days tightly covered in the fridge, or 3-5 months in the freezer
