The easiest and tastiest Margherita pizza you coul

The easiest and tastiest Margherita pizza you could make, with a 30 minute no knead pizza dough that is absolutely delicious and defies logic with its simplicity- my go to. @tamimimarkets gave me yet another sauce hit with their Signature Select pizza sauce- the closest I’ve come to homemade yet! Swipe to see what the sauce looks like. I got fresh mozzarella and basil from Tamimi too and I kid you not, we were all fighting over this pizza. Great one to make with/for kids!

INGREDIENTS

2 – 2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 packet or 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1 1/2 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/4 tsp dried basil (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil (+more for coating the bowl and baking)
3/4 cup warm water*
Signature pizza sauce, about 1/3 cup
1 pack (225g) Buffalo Mozzarella (Fresh mozzarella), sliced.

INSTRUCTIONS:

-Combine 1 cup of the flour (125g) with the yeast, sugar, salt and garlic powder/basil in a large bowl.
-Add olive oil and warm water and use a wooden spoon to combine thoroughly.
-Add in another 1 cup of flour (125g), and stir. If dough is still too sticky, keep adding flour gradually while stirring until a maximum extra 1/3 cup is added. The dough will begin to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
-Coat another large bowl with olive oil and transfer dough to this greased bowl.
-Cover tightly with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until puffy and expanded to double in size.
If baking crust right after rising, preheat the oven to 220 C while dough is rising.
-Once dough has risen, coat your hands and a work surface lightly with flour and remove dough from the bowl and knead gently just a few times until dough is smooth.
-Directly into a lightly greased in pizza pan, stretch dough into a 12 inch circular shape. (See how in stories)
-Brush the dough circle all over with olive oil (about 1 tbsp). Prick the dough all over with a fork to prevent bubbling in the oven.
-Spread pizza sauce on top of the dough and place cheese evenly.
-Bake in the hot oven for 13-16 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is brown in some spots. Once out of the oven, top with fresh basil. Enjoy warm!

You tell me, is there a more indulgent breakfast than cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky buns? Especially heated up, warm and gooey and fragrant. A breakfast like this instantly puts me in a good mood. Bring on the weekend! Delicious work from @palmetto.bh as always. I love that each one comes in a convenient pack of 6, not too overwhelming for a small group or family. If I had to choose, I’d go with the sticky pecan😍. How about you??

I love @neobooksandcoffee so much, I really do. Everything is done to perfection and thought out to the last detail. Amazing selection of books, great coffee, and absolutely delicious cafe food. I can’t go without having their sourdough cheese toastie, a flat white and at least one of their sweets. Everything I’ve tried I’ve loved, like the blueberry crumb cake, flourless chocolate cake, and new cookies and seasonal pecan pie bites and lemon drops. Their cafe is open for take away orders in the adorable kiosk they have set up. What would you choose from this photo? I’d love to know what your go to is! Does a white sauce garlic pepperoni pizza with brown butter sound good to you? How about a smoked chicken musakhan pizza? Both DELICIOUS, with amazing dipping sauces with my favorite kind of crust- one that’s crispy and light in all the right places and chewy in the crust. @leopardo.sa is adorably set up with a pink leopard theme and the pizza really speaks for itself. Small menu, fresh ingredients with an open kitchen assembly, quick and efficient order turn around time- I predict they will do very well in Saudi!

I am constantly so pleased with @tamimimarkets signature sauce range- and this is coming from someone who is a total homemade sauce snob. The obsession started with their marinara sauce and has now expanded to their Asian sauces. Made a 15 minute dinner we devoured using the ready made Kung pao sauce - it’s delicious! It tastes like I spent precious long minutes sourcing an arrangement of Asian oils and vinegars and spices, and chopping garlic and ginger and red chili peppers but actually all I had to do was make some noodles, cook chicken breast pieces and bell peppers and green onions then drizzle this ready made sauce over everything in the skillet. Will definitely be renaming this meal regularly!

Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil, divided
450 g chicken breasts, cleaned and cut into bite sized cubes
salt and pepper for seasoning
3/4 cup Kung Pao Sauce
300 g dry noodles of choice like udon or soba
1/2 each red, yellow and green bell pepper, diced
3 green onion stalks, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
1/3 cup roasted peanuts

Method:
1. Boil noodles until al dente according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium high heat. Add the chicken pieces, season generously with salt and pepper and cook until chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes a side, then remove the chicken to a plate and set aside.
3. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil, then the bell peppers and green onions and saute for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add the chicken back in, as well as the kung pao sauce, the peanuts and the cooked noodle. Toss to combine and simmer for 1 minute. Enjoy!

The weather has seemingly very swiftly changed and it’s so beautiful it makes me feel like I must have been over exaggerating how sweltering summer has been. It’s now very firmly apple season, and pumpkin dessert season too if I can ever find canned pumpkin! Until then, this beautiful Irish Apple crumble cake is giving me all the seasonal feels. This is amazing served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Recipe adapted from @donalskehan
Ingredients:
Cake:
1/2 cup softened butter (113g)
3/4 cup light brown sugar (150g)
2 eggs, room temp
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 cups flour, sifted (200g)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
Crumble:
1/4 cup sugar (50g)
1/4 cup flour (32g)
1/4 cup butter (56g)

Method:
1. Heat oven to 180C. Grease and line an 8 or 9 inch pan with parchment paper.
2.Cream the butter and brown sugar in large bowl, 2-3 minutes on medium side until light and fluffy
3. Add the eggs one at a time until mixed, then vanilla.
4. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon and fold until just combined, then fold in the apple cubes. Batter will be thick! Spread into prepared pan.
5. Combine all the crumble ingredients in a small bowl, pinching together with fingertips until small crumbs form, then scatter evenly onto cake surface.
6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
