Happy Turkey day!! This entire Turkey and SO many sides (what’s pictured is like 1/4 of what they sent lol) from @tamimimarketsbh available all winter season for starting at 34 BD for the unstuffed turkey, and 35.5 for the stuffed. It’s an insanely good deal!! Great turkey and delicious sides 👌🏼I especially liked the citrus scented sweet potatoes and garlic green beans 😍🦃.

AMAZING. I’m absolutely addicted. I went to the fridge approximately 8 times in a day to sneak some more bites in. Hands down my husbands favorite thing I make EVER. If you are going to push yourself to bake one thing from my page, let this pecan pie be it!
INGREDIENTS:
For the pie crust :
2.5 cup flour (325g)
1 cup butter very cold and cubed (226g)
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp ice cold water
For the pecan filling:
2 cups (260g) chopped pecans
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup white sugar 100g)
3 tbsp brown sugar (45 g)
1/3 cup melted butter (75g)
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
- For the pie crust, add the dry ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse to combine. Add in all the cold, cubed butter and pulse 4-6 times until a sandy mixture with pea sized lumps of butter forms.
-Dump this mix into a bowl, and add the ice cold water. Mix with a fork to combine until dough comes together, then knead just a couple times to form a ball. Avoid overworking, we don’t want the butter lumps to melt so the crust stays flaky.
-Place this dough ball in plastic wrap and chill in fridge 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm.
- Once pie crust is chilled, roll out to a circle a little larger than a 9 inch pie plate, then transfer to pie plate and press it in, trimming any extra dough from the edges and crimping the dough edges. Watch my stories/highlight to see how! Place pie shell in fridge until filling is ready.
- Heat oven to 180C, and prepare filling by mixing together the corn syrup, both sugars, melted butter, beaten eggs, vanilla and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Scatter the pecans on the base of the pie, then pour filling evenly on top until pie case is full.
- Bake for 50-55 until crust is browned and pie is set but a tiny bit jiggly in the center. Let cool completely at room temperature, and enjoy room temp, or chill in the fridge and enjoy cold (my preference).

He made these slow cooked Birria tacos- basically tender meat marinated in a rich spice filled stew. You can dip tacos in this sauce to make them extra delish. Apple Pear Galette, made soooo easy using puff pastry. It comes together very quickly and tastes like deconstructed apple pie. SO YUM! Swipe for the video with the crunch sound 📢 and I guarantee you’ll want to make this. Shared step by step in story!

INGREDIENTS:
2 apples, peeled and sliced
2 pears, peeled and sliced
(You can do all apple or pears if you want)
Squeeze of lemon juice
1/3 cup brown sugar (70g)
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1 pack puff pastry 400g, thawed
2 tbsp butter, cold and sliced into thin pats
1 egg, beaten for egg wash

INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, toss sliced apples and pears with lemon juice, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and ginger powder.
- Roll out puff pastry dough into a 1/2 inch thick 12 inch circle, and arrange the fruit slices in the center, leaving a dough border free (see this step in stories).
- Fold dough over the fruit filling, place butter pats evenly on fruit and brush edges of dough with egg wash.
-Bake for 25-30 min until golden brown. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream!

Comfort stew at its finest, does anyone else remember Bazella being in constant rotation during their childhood? This is one of those that I wasn’t too fond of but grew to appreciate! It’s easy to make, really healthy and just the thing for this season. Try it! I made this in the instant pot because it cooks the meat so quickly, but you can make this in a normal pot, I included instructions for both.

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb boneless beef cubes (About 1-2 inch cubes) 500 g
4 cups water
1 tsp seven spices
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp salt
1/4-1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 small onion, diced
1 bay leaf
4-5 tbsp tomato paste 70g
1 tbsp olive oil
10 garlic cloves, crushed
1 bunch cilantro (coriander) finely chopped
1 bag mixed frozen peas and cubed carrots (1 lb, 450 g)
1 bag frozen peas (1 lb 400g)

INSTRUCTIONS:

If using Instant Pot, turn it to saute mode, and add the olive oil until hot. If using a regular saucepan, do the same thing on medium high heat. Add the beef cubes, and cook stirring occasionally until browned.
Add the water, the seven spices, cinnamon powder, salt, black pepper and cumin powder, then the diced onion and bay leaf. If making in the Instant Pot, add the tomato paste, and stir to combine, then turn pressure to high for 25 minutes. Make sure valve is sealed). After cook time is over, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes before venting remaining pressure and opening the Instant Pot.
If using a regular saucepan, boil the meat until completely cooked before adding the tomato paste. This will take about 1 hour on a high simmer.
While the meat is cooking, prepare the sauteed garlic and coriander. Heat the olive oil in a small skillet on medium high heat, then add the garlic and coriander. Stir and cook until garlic turns golden and coriander wilts, then set aside.
Once the meat has cooked through, switch Instant Pot to saute function and add the frozen peas and carrots, and the extra bag of frozen peas. Saute for 10-15 minutes or until peas and carrots are cooked through and tender. Stir in the sauteed coriander and garlic mixture, and serve with vermicelli rice (recipe on site).

Their pastries and desserts are stunning, and one of the perks of the shoot was being able to eat things like this Nutella babka. Absolutely luscious. So good! If baking these fluffy homemade cinnamon rolls with an ooey gooey sticky pecan caramel topping doesn’t sound like the best weekend plan ever then I will never understand you. Not many cookies will steer me away from my belove

Not many cookies will steer me away from my beloved chocolate chip, but these peanut butter cookies are good enough to do the trick. Simple and delicious, recipe barely adapted from @gimmesomeoven . Absolutely delicious!
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup flour (167g)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened ( 1 stick, 113g)
1/2 cup white sugar (100g)
1/2 cup light brown sugar (100g)
1/2 cup and 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, room temp
Method:
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch and salt and set aside.
- With an electric mixer, cream together butter and both sugars for 3 minutes on medium speed or until light and fluffy.
- Mix in peanut butter until smooth, then add the vanilla and egg and mix. Turn speed to low and add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
-Heat the oven to 180C (350F), and put the dough in the fridge to chill until oven comes to temperature.
- Roll our large 1.5tbsp balls of cookie dough (45g each), optionally rolling these balls in some white sugar. Place in parchment lined baking sheet, 2 inches apart. Press a cross cross pattern with a fork to flatten the dough balls.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set and edges are golden brown.
Enjoy, with a glass of milk of course!
